So I had a bad day the other day. I had an assignment that was due and I forgot to do it. I had practice for baseball and I couldn't hit the baseball, or field a ground ball, and my arm wouldn't stop hurting. Once I have a bad with baseball, then my whole day is just gone to hell.
Thank god that I have the most amazing girlfriend. Later that night after my homework was complete, my girlfriend called me. And just hearing the sound of her voice made me smile. It was almost like my day started all over. It was like a video game in way. When you lose, you just hit the reset button, and you get a new life.
My girlfriend and I talked for hours that night. We talked about absolutely nothing, but it meant absolutely everything. I couldn't stop smiling and laughing and I know she was the same way.
Although I had a bad day, I had a great night. My girlfriend picked me up while I was down, and went to sleep with a smile from ear to ear on my face that night. It was a good night's sleep. And I woke up the next morning with the most amazing dream. She's a keeper for life! =)
My heart was jumping with joy out of my body that morning. What can I say I can't control my heart with her being The Girl With The Heart
I think I'm gonna write a new poem just for my beloved girlfriend!
